The Melting Pot: Ethnic Art and Writing

This fourth of July,America will celebrate the birth of a free nation. There will be music,food, dancing,laughter and of course fireworks for this event. America has become a melting pot of ethnic people. If you live in or near a city you can observe the many ethnic cultures that influence our lives. Orlando is one of the biggest melting pots around. Here besides getting a glimse at Mickey Mouse you will see several cultures living as one getting along. The choice of food and products is enormous. You have the Hispanic market,the Asian market,the Indian market,the Italian market,the German market,all bringing their cultures to you. A true site to visit and learn. Ethnic art and writing are alive and well. They can be found in Orlando,Flordia or San Deigo, California. All over the country ethnic is where it is at for art or writing.

Ethnic means a race or large group of people classed according to certain traits or customs. America is the only country in the world that can boost of such a diverse cultural society. From African-American to Native American art the items all hand crafted sell for a lot and our worth it. Ethnic writing comprises 35 percent of a market from publishers to books,magazines,the ethnic line flourishes. One of the largest dominating ethnic group is African-American wheter it be in the artworld or writing circle,this ethnic group has produce a multi million dollar market that caters to largely African-Americans or other black groups. So you are into your roots and want to get started in ethnic art or writing,great choice. No matter if you are Jewish or Irish there is some industy that you can make a small profit in.

How to get started in the ethnic world is fairly simple with the internet to help you. Let us start with Yahoo,a good search engine with lots of resources. Type in your ethnic pleasure,like Russian Art or Black Publishers and get your info. You may want to also type in events,like German artwork or Polish poetry. I am sure you can spend a week researching and exploding websites. Reality check though,if you are doing African Art you will find a pretty lot of resources,if you are doing Romanian art you will have fewer pickings to choose from. So keep that in mind it depends on your ethnic choice how many resources you find. I wish you the best of luck in finding your talent in ethnic art or writing.
