Can You Teach Me
By Marc Vasquez

You, the light of my world...
can you teach me?
To suceed where the stars and saints have failed is to prove thy name...love
To calm the gushing heart of a warlord, bringing peace to an amatuer mind-
Can...
To aid the wounded beast and cease the bleeding of the paw-
Can You...
To end the forbidden crying of a child , lost and alone-
Can You teach...
To bring to light the wonders of the world-
Can you teach me...
To show me not only to feel the softness but the purity of your touch-
Can You teach me your...
To show me the joy of sharing life with another, one again-
Can you teach me your...
Love?

Artists!, read the above poem. What can you visualize? Mother, child, friend, sky, sea?? Think hard until you can form an image. Once you have this image draw, paint, use clay or sand to do a web design using one or all of the images you have found from the poem above. This may take some time, but you can take all the time you want. Please share the ideas and images you have found from reading this poem in discussions.

Have a Great Upcoming Month. Spring into writing and art.
