Journal/Painting

Last month we looked at poetry and tee shirt design. This time I going to review journal writing and painting. Keeping a journal is a good way to pratice writing, put your thoughts into words, discover ideas, and express your feelings. You can use a notebook, computer or tape recorder to have a journal. Collect your thoughts, write about your past, present, future, feelings, day events, whatever. You should spend at least 15 minutes per day doing your journal. In a month look at what you wrote. Can you get any ideas for stories, poems, or songs? Keep a journal for at least six months for therapeutic reasons. Good Luck!!

Painting is a lot of fun it can be done on canvas or computer. Geometric shapes are the best way to get started. First take a look around. Study the geometric shapes you encounter every day, from a bowl of fruit to a person face. Now practice painting the shapes. After that you are on your way to painting a landscape, people, whatever! Remember to take your time to develop your skill.
