I think that Abstract Expressionism should be explored by everyone. It is a great way to loosen up, to just put something down on a piece of paper, which can sometimes be the hardest thing to do. I remember times when I thought everything had been done before and I didn't know where to begin. With this piece however, I just started to drip some paint onto the canvas and all of a sudden I began to feel braver about applying some more paint and just throwing it around. A word of advice however, use a large space and cover it with newspaper before you begin.
