Prospero's Bookswritten in, all but English and Russian I do not speak, but Greenaway portrayed his work in just two languages, English, and the visual one. And his film is about whatever I want it to be, whenever I watch it. It is a film that can be understood however I want to understand it at the time, all that I need is apply a little bit of myself to the screen when I watch. It is not at all a film for those that do not apply themselves to the work and requires an active mind while watching, maybe it would be best if seen on DVD, freezing almost every frame and studying it deriving always something different from it.
