Incense for Fall

I love incense! It seems like it can take you to another country &/or time with a simple strike of a match. Once in morning and again in the evening I light incense which seems to cleanse the house and set a calming touch to the environment. When people in the home seem to be coming down with something, I make a special blend using resin incenses and essential oils. For man, Fall can be a time of great seasonal change. The biggest problem associated with the season is extremely dry air. This can leave the body more susceptible to germs and viruses, causing one to get colds and other illnesses, sometimes over and over again. Other ingredients that can be added to your cleansing incense include rosemary which is easily found in almost any supermarket (spice area). You can also find cinnamon which has long been burned for purification and imparts a spicy scent. Rose essential, while expensive, gives a wonderful floral scent along with citruses such as lemon and orange for freshness. You will be surprised at how resin incense such as myrrh can become a great base for your essential oils or herbs, simply by allowing them to soak for a few weeks and then used over charcoal. People would laugh when I would go about the
