Bottle Between The SexesBottle Between The Sexes Everyone likes to think there is a potion that can induce love and traditionally, essential oils have been used for such purposes. Today, Aromatherapy love items, including massage and bath oils abound, in addition to special blends. What many do not realize however is why these essential oils have been used for such purposes and that men and women can be effected in totally opposite ways. Since, pure essential oils, are extracted from once living botanicals or saps, they contain all sorts of natural chemicals including some which mimic hormones in humans. Some also have scents which mimic those secreted by humans who are in loving relationships. A fine example is Sandalwood essential oil, which many women go wild over. Sandalwood contains undertones which mimic human male musk like scents, hence why women adore it. However, most men can't stand Sandalwood as they subconsciously feel another male is invading their turf. However, many perfumes which consider themselves "love inducing" contain Sandalwood because they know women will buy blends that they like on the spot. The line between what women adore and what men subconsciously feel is attractive has been blurred, must likely by various fragrance manufactures. If one looks to ancient days of Rome, it was the men that wore light and floral perfumes including Rose and Myrrh. Women on the other hand wore pungent and spicy perfumes including Sandalwood, Patchouli, etc. This was mostly for self gratification. Later, scents were switched to be more attracting and attractive. This still doesn't stop many women from stealing their husbands cologne when they are on long trips away from home or men taking time to
