The fall months bring with it festivals, fairs and special events in the cities and towns that lie along these scenic routes. Tourists from the four corners of the United States come to these events, anxious to share in the customs and crafts of the local people. Food is always plentiful, as well as the smiles and laughter that go along with it. So if you get a chance and want to see a mountain with its coat of many colors, drop down to Arkansas for a visit.
