Off-season continues....

Well here we are almost half way through the off season. There has actually been a lot of activity. Aside from adding the new teams that I mentioned in the previous article, just recently, the XFL had it's draft. This draft took a lot of Arena Football players.

As far as anyone close to the AFL knows, any player can play in the XFL and still play for their AFL team. The seasons don't overlap. By the way, if you're a football fan, you gotta love the fact that you can now watch the game year round!

You might have noticed that there are some missing links in the links section. Many sites have closed up because of the Firebirds, Barnstormers, and Bobcats moving. As soon as I get the links to the new teams and the new sites of the teams that have moved, I'll bring them to you.

As far as the NFL goes, they still haven't exercised their option to buy 49 percent of the AFL. However, there are still plans to have a "Pro-Bowl" of AFL players in Tampa at the Ice Palace the night before the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay. It would be a great day for our fledgling league.
