QB Kurt Warner, who played that position for the Iowa Barnstormers is now the starting QB for the St. Louis Rams. The Rams are now 3-0 and on top of their division. Kurt Warner has become the first QB in 50 years to throw 3 or more TDs in each of his first 3 games. Neither Dan Marino, Joe Montana, or John Elway have ever accomplished the feat. IMHO there are 3 more AFL QBs who could save a struggling NFL team:
Mike Pawlawski, Albany, Sherdrick Bonner, Arizona, and Aaron Garcia, Iowa.
Barry Wagner WR/DB of the Orlando Predators has been traded to the New Jersey Red Dogs for OS Alvin Ashley and a player to be named later. Wagner, the best two-way player in AFL history wanted either more money from the Predators or to be traded to a team closer to his family in New York.
