2005 Arena Season Week 5 Review, Week 6 Preview
Austin at Las Vegas
Vegas seeks to stay in the lead in the Western Division. Austin put up a valiant fight at Georgia.
Columbus at Georgia
Georgia was almost stunned by the Austin Wranglers last week. Could Columbus cause fits as well? Columbus did extend Dallas at Dallas before beating Chicago. The Destroyers looked to be on a roll but were beaten by the lowly Rampage last week.
San Jose at Orlando
At the beginning of the year Storm coach Tim Marcum complained about hosting the defending champs right off the bat in week 1. Soon the SaberCats might do some complaining themselves. They play both Florida teams on the road. San Jose needs this game if the SaberCats harbor hopes of staying in the playoff race.
New York at Philadelphia
New York on a roll at 3-1. Right now the Dragons would miss the playoffs if the season ended today. Deja vu all over again, since the Dragons won their division last year only to miss the playoffs? Philadelphia comes in with a new coach to get the 2-3 Soul on track for a playoff berth.
Grand Rapids at Tampa Bay
It was inevitable the Rampage would get a win. I just didn't expect it against a team that seemed to be gathering momentum. However, Tampa Bay should break its two-game losing streak against the Rampage.
Nashville at Chicago
Chicago also is riding a two-game losing streak. That streak should end when Nashville comes to town.
Los Angeles at Arizona
Los Angeles seeks to at least keep a share of the Western lead. Arizona is running out of time to make a move to the playoffs. Bonner should be better prepared than he was in New York.
Bye: Colorado
The Crush takes a week off after a win over LA and gaining first place in the Central Division.
