The Nour Foundation: The Khalili Collections- This is the website for the Nour Foundation which has an extensive collection of Islamic Art including a Koranic Manuscript collection which dates from the 8th century AD to the 20th century and spans from Morocco to China. The website doesnt actually have an online collection but they do list their exhibitions (with descriptions) at museums around the world.

Most valuable is the 13 minute audio presentation (RealAudio) which includes interviews with John Brookes, an expert on Islamic Gardens, and Professor Azeem Nanji, Director of the Institute of Ismaili Studies.

Paradise on earth: Historical gardens of the arid Middle East by Safei El-Deen Hamed- An extensive look at Islamic Gardens and the many associated concepts including diversity, beauty, and conservation. Definitely a worthwhile look for those interested in a more complete analysis of Islamic Gardens.
