Other Handmade Crafts
A store I came across recently is Orientlights.com which sells Egyptian, Islamic, and bedouin arts and crafts, home decor, textiles, and jewelry.
There are also a number of stores that sell beautiful Palestinian embroidery. One of thes is Sunbula, a not for profit organization which sells hand embroidered pillow covers, purses, hand made rugs, mother of pearl and wood items. Turath shopping mall was a great find. It's a mall with four seperate shops for non-profit organizations selling Palestinian hand-made crafts. The hand embroidered items are beautiful, as are the wood, mother of pearl and ceramic and glass items.
