Arabs on the InternetPalestinian Restitution and Reparation (www.rightofreturn.org). The GNAA list can be found at www.egroups.com It is exciting to see how the Internet has changed the way people learn, communicate and meet, and to think about how it will in the future. In terms of making accurate information on Arab culture and the Arab people available to all, I think the Internet can make some positive changes. With respect to Arab social and political activism there is no doubt that the Internet will continue to be useful and effective. For, as the Internet continues to make the world feel smaller, and as people with similar interests and goals find it easier to connect, we can look to the words of anthropologist Maragaret Mead for inspiration: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." -------------------------------
