Although these parasites are rather uncommon, they are quite lethal. Often a fish overcome by a large parasitic concentration will die due to bacterial infections caused by a decrease in the immune system of the fish. For black ich, fast treatment is the key, while early identification of the symptoms is very important for quality treatment of all of these parasites.
