The wolf spider belongs to the family Lycosidae and order Araneida. Its hairy body is usually a combination of brown, grey, white and black. Its diet includes flies, crickets, beetles, ants and other insects. Even though it has a fierce "wolf" name, the wolf spider is not without enemies, which can include wasps, birds and other spiders.
