Despite having a majestic tooth and another short one, none of these teeth are helpful with the narwhal's meal. A narwhal's diet may consist of fish, squid, shrimp and other marine animals. It also may either have two teeth or none at all. So, in order to fill its stomach, it must use suction and emission of a jet of water to dislodge prey from the ocean bottom.
