Explanation:
The benefits of virtues are as evident as the difference between the palanquin's rider and bearer
The results of one's virtues or Dharma is seen in this life or in the next life. While the palanquin bearers carry the king on their shoulder for a living; the king governs a kingdom.
Verse (8)
Veezh NaL Pada Amai Nandratrin Akdhu Oruvan,
Vazh Nal Vazhi Yadaikkum Kal.
Explanation:
When not a single day passes without doing some good deeds, the path to rebirth is blocked.
Here the poet Thiruvalluvar stresses on the fact that leading a virtuous life and treading the path of Dharma will liberate us from the cycle of birth and death.
The path of Dharma holds the key to liberation.
