Explanation:
The people who are steadfast in the path of devotion are untouched by both GOOD and BAD, both of which is a result of MAYA or delusion.
The poet classifies both GOODESS and BAD events or actions as delusion resulting from human ignorance. Devotion and surrender at the feet of the creator will free man from ignorance and Maya.

Explanation:
The people who tred the flawless path of devotion to the Lord, who has control of all five senses - lead a long and happy life.
The Saint describes the Creator as being superior to human beings and having control of the all five senses. The path of devotion would lead humanity to the path of happiness and bliss.
Saint Tiruvalluvar refers to the Almighty as the one who has control of all the five senses. The path of devotion is flawless.
