Turn The Page

books. Developers are a key component in building the future of the Amiga, and having high quality reference materials on the AmigaOS and AmigaAnywhere are critical. Much as I love the developer CDs (I own a couple of AmigaOS developer CDs and the Amiga/intent SDK) which are crammed with a variety of tools and information, there's nothing quite like a printed set of manuals. Call me old-fashioned if you will, but it's true. Don't forget that printed books find themselves stuck on the shelves of book stores, offices and homes, they're read on trains and transatlantic flights, and generally make themselves obvious to others. Going beyond developers, from personal experience a book in the form of "AmigaAnywhere for Newbies" or "Teach Yourself Photogenics In a Week" will make a definite impression on all those people new to the Amiga experience...

So, perhaps it's time to rally together the writers out there?

(And yes, I do realise that includes me!)
