While there is some good basic information for someone looking to expand their exposure to different Western artists, I thought the sight was a little too thin. I would have liked to see more sound clips for each album and maybe links to the artist's web site. It's worth a visit but there are probably better sources of information.
The Artists section lists 36 different Western artists that you can select to get the same info as the featured artist. The Campfire section contains a bulletinboard where you can post comments and reply to comments by other visitors. The Buckaroo Gear section links to Mootown's parent sight, Hitching Post Supply. This is a source of all sorts of Western "stuff" including music, books and apparel. The albums featured in each artist's discography section is available for purchase through the Mootown pages. I thought the price of $18 per CD was a little high, but it did include shipping.
