Country Music In Switzerland

OK, so not everyone may be going to Switzerland any time soon, but it is good to see that Country Music has support on a worldwide basis. Take a look at these sites and those provided European links. You might discover some new friends.

vTuner - Your Global Antenna

vTuner provides information on web sites that broadcast over the Internet using either RealAudio or Netshow streaming. The content is listed by format or by geographic location. It can also be searched by "keyword" or phrase. Looking at Country Music yields 38 entries but there are some duplicate entries. You'll also find some foreign entries from Canada, Rrussia and The Czech Republic. The latter two entries lack the times when any Country Music programming occurs.

Each listing provides the call letters, slogan, broadcast frequency, and geographic location of the station, a link to both the station's web site and live broadcast, and vTuner ratings of the sound, speed, and web site of the station. Lastly, you can download a stand-alone vTuner; just what it does, I'm not sure.

The site provides many good stations to which to listen. It's worth a bookmark and regular visits just to listen to the different stations around the country and the world.
