Other useful information about our government appears on the dollar bill. On the front, we find that the dollar is a "Federal Reserve Note," and that The Department of the Treasury was first established in 1789 (noted in the department seal). To the left of Washington is the signature of the Treasurer of the United States, and to the right of Washington is the signature of the Secretary of the Treasury. Both of those signatures will be whomever filled those positions at the time that particular dollar was printed. The stamp to the left of Washington shows which Federal Reserve Bank it was printed at, and a serial number for the dollar is printed twice on the front of the dollar. It also says "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private."

In short, a one dollar bill from the United States of America offers a plethora of useful information to represent our country. There's patriotic symbols, mottos, and other useful information, as well. Any American can identify which President appears on the one dollar bill, and sending it would also send many messages at once about how we view ourselves. Indeed, we are One, united and multicultural, rich in opportunity, and proud to be American.
