The Orion Nebula

This nebula is probably one of the most photographed objects in the night sky. Here are some samples of some of these images. This one is rather unique, providing a 3-D visualization. Here is a nifty image from the 2MASS sky survey. Here is a different perspective, viewing Orion in the infrared. For those of you with ambitions to pursue astrophotography, here are some amateur images showing what you yourself might be able to achieve. And of course, you have to take a look at some Hubble images. Of course, these are just a sampling. I encourage everyone to search the web for more.
