Trip Designer works as follows: 1) pick a gateway city to depart from, 2) choose the continent you want to go to, 3) choose from zillions of cities, 4) repeat 2 & 3 and 5) repeat again and again until you either find yourself a) back home or b) circling the globe in an endless loop. When you want to stop, click "finish" and see how much such a trip would cost. The deals are pretty good. Air Treks also offers forums for travelers.
