Sometimes those of us in the media just push too hard. Recently Liam
Gallagher post-poned what was supposed to be his wedding. Why? Because
the British press was so busy trying to get the perfect cover story
that they failed to consider the effects and amount of pressure they were
putting on Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit. For example, the day of the
planned wedding his wife to be Patsy Kensit was reported to be sleeping
in her car just outside of their home in an attempt to avoid the press, of
course since this was reported the relentless press found her and we can
only hope they didn't harass her too much. Of course I understand that he's
in the public eye and therefore obviously I can understand how much
attention he brings. But at the same time I can imagine if I were to get
married and I had hundreds of reporters pounding down my door how
bothered I would be and because of this I ask of the reporters and the
fans in the world to remember that superstars whether it be in the music
world, sports world, or of any fame, are human beings just like you and
me, and we all need some breathing room.
