The Canadian Invasion

In the US we always speak about the British Invasion as a important moment in US music history and consider the current thrown holder to be Oasis. Well I foresee a new invasion as the neighbors to the north are poised to make some serious noise on commercial radio. We're all familiar with angst driven female rocker Alanis Morissette and she's told us that "You Oughta Know" what the next big thing is going to be. But you might not know who will make up the second wave and the front runner has to be Barenaked Ladies with their fun, creative and catchy tunes ready to snatchup post-angst radio listeners longing for something light. And the final charge might just be lead by the Dahle brothers with their bands Limblifter and Age of Electric ready to knock off the Gallager brothers and Oasis all the way back to London. So be prepared, maybe even dig a trench or two the Barenaked Ladies and the Dahle brothers might come steamrolling through a radio station near you. Besides you might even enjoy it, I know I do.
