Brit-Pop SitesHere in the US there seems to be a large group of people who think Brit-Pop music is the only music that matters and that everything else is "utter crap." Now to completely understand the Brit-Pop mentality you ought to read the One Love Story, as it attempts to prove that many Brit-Pop artists are indeed angels sent from heaven. So I felt Brit-Pop deserved a little time here on my page. There are a few sites in addition to the One Love Story that appear to have lots of information regarding Brit-Pop and the British music scene that I'd like to introduce to you. "The biggest band in the world!" - Yes, the guys from Oasis can indeed be called bigmouths and if you'd like to read more about them and other UK bands, check out the aptly title Bigmouth web site. In addition to its music news it also has up to date tour listings for many artists touring in the UK. You might also explore Excellent Music (I believe the site name implies what they think of Brit-Pop). Excellent has regular Brit-Pop music news, columns, and reviews. Of course there's the New Musical Express which, according to their web site, is "the world's biggest-selling rock weekly." It does have quite a depth of content, including daily music news, weekly music reviews, regular live music reviews as well as tour dates and much more. Don't forget The Supersonic Guide because if I miss a UK link or two of interest they will definitely have it. Hopefully after surfing through a few of these sites you won't be too angst-filled!
