Currently the local music section is a bit thin with coverage of Dallas, California, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, Austin, New York City, Vancouver, B.C. and the North Central U.S. though that does cover a sizable area. It would be a move in the right direction to see an expanded local music section because it's these bands that truly need the exposure.
As far as the mainstream section goes, one drawback is the limited scope of artists that you're allowed to post reviews about. You have a specific list of artists available to write reviews about and it would be nice if this list was larger and more comprehensive. Ideally, the ability to post about any and all artists would greatly improve ConcertReview. But what they have here is at the very least a good start.
On the positive side you're able to read about a show from a fan's perspective where you'll get an honest opinion instead of a critic's canned review. Considering a Rolling Stone ticket goes for around $50, there is a bit of decision making that does need to go on before attending concerts nowadays.
