Now to the music...
So let's see what have I missed in the past couple months, all sorts of major releases: Beck, Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Live, Goo Goo Dolls, The Verve Pipe, Bush, STP, Nine Inch Nails, Ani DiFranco, Tori Amos... Wow! All kinds of goodies in there!
Although I did pickup copies of the new Rage, Verve Pipe, Tori Amos, Nine Inch Nails and Ani DiFranco, I've only listened to some of them a little bit. I've heard the new Nine Inch Nails is worth buying though be ready as it is at times quite a bit different than Trent's older works. If you think he played and experimented much with different sounds in the past then get ready as he goes crazy on this one.
I've also listened to the new Tori Amos double disc and it hasn't impressed me all that much, additionally the live disc seems to be lacking some of her better songs. So you may avoid that one as a stocking stuffer.
Coming soon I'll have a book review, my comments regarding the Rage Against the Machine and Verve Pipe albums, and of course a band of the month.
