October 14th, 1996 at 4:01 PM the Material Girl became the Material Mom.
I can only imagine such an odd household with frequent visits from Uncle Rodman featuring his color of the week hair. In many households young kids find their father's Playboys, where in this household this child will find Playboy pictures of her mom and some very intriguing clothing in the closet. What other things lurk in Madonna's closet only she knows, but be guaranteed it will be a big closet. Though, Madonna will have a clear advantage over most mothers. For example, when her daughter asks about Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n' Roll, Madonna can simply respond "Been there, done that," or as Nike would say "Just Do It." Truthfully, I imagine she'd have more thoughtful, experienced responses than that of the average mom. In "Material Girl" Madonna says "Experience has made me rich," and if we were all so lucky to have such 'wealthy' mothers our world might be a much more forgiving place. In "Papa Don't Preach" she asks for "some good advice" and ironically she now is in a position to offer better advice then most mothers. I for one think she'll be a good mom. Go To Page: 1
