I know this has happened to all of us die-hard music fans. You hear about
this great show -- it was just unreal. Oh, and it was your favorite band
and it was yesterday. What, you didn't know they were playing just down the block from you?
Nowadays you can jump online and hit your favorite band's homepage to find out when and where they're playing; then spin on over to Ticket Master and buy some tickets. But if your favorite band isn't a hugely successful commercial band you still have a few options. You can also find tour dates by checking the band's web site. This is probably your best bet as surely the band will do its best to keep their fans informed. Other methods include checking sites like The Groove Guide, Performance Magazine's Tour Search, or online magazines like Consumable and 181.4 Degrees from the Norm! which often list smaller/local bands' upcoming shows within their issues. So the next time your favorite bands roll into town don't be the one hearing about it the next day. Make sure you are always in the know (my favorite local band). Go To Page: 1
