  • ALLIUM SENESCENS An excellent,long flowering species with tightly packed rounded heads of attractive lilac flowers on 25-35cm stems. Hardy and very easy. $2.00 ea 5 for $9.00

  • ALLIUM SOVITSII A little known species allium , close to the A.Carinatum-A.Paniculatum group. A multi-flowering type with numerous heads of semi-pendulous pale pink flowers with deeper stripes in Summer. Not to my taste but certainly hardy and very easy to cultivate. 30cm $2.00 ea 5 for $9.00

  • ALLIUM TUBEROSUM Chinese Chives". Another easy and attractive allium for the open garden in either sun or semi-shade.Many pure white, star shaped flowers form hemispherical umbels on 40-50cm stems in early autumn.Fragrant-edible. $2.00 ea

  • AMARCRINUM A beautiful hybrid (Crinum x Amaryllis Belladonna) bearing many large pink trumpets on 50-70cm stems in late summer,early autumn.Easy and reliable. $6.00 ea

  • ARISAEMA CANDIDISSIMUM This is among the best of a relatively newly introduced species into Oz. Beautiful pink,white striped spathes appear just before the foliage in early summer. Followed by very large and attractive 3 lobed leaves. Woodland plant. Few only. $5.00 ea limit 1
