Gardens and all the rest of it.

As gardeners we prepare our soils and scape the land to conform with our ideas of how we want our little patch of earth to appear.

Along the way we gather knowledge to equip ourselves and hope that the changing landscapes of our life and garden match our expected outcomes.

Sadly, this does not always eventuate .

Disease and climate impact on both the garden and the curator of the garden.

The bones of the garden will become the future scape seen from my chair. The trees will eventually shade my planting's, and the more vigorous bulbs and ground covers will take over; carpeting the ground's understorey.

As energy wanes, the distant memory of what flowered here will mingle with past gardens until these too are forgotten.

This is the last article from me, life for me has slowed, and time now needs to be spent more fully in the three D world appreciating the simple things until my final patch of earth is ploughed.
