Garden Street Books

© Garden Street Books

We have purchased Garden Street Books following the sudden death of Dr. Liz Kerr, the proprietor and owner of Garden Street Books. Liz was our friend for over 20 years and we had often helped out with the books when Liz was overseas. Chances are you already have received books packed by us in the past.

We are both librarians and have many years experience dealing with books and book catalogues. Alan is also an award winning photographer.

We hope to gradually improve the availability of internet and email services linking the keen, novice and experienced gardener with titles that inform and excite their interests.

We stock new and secondhand antiquarian gardening books, so we are always interested in buying books as well as selling them.

Those of you reading will remember walking into Liz's front room

and how hard it was to leave without finding a rare out of print title tucked away; usually this was the one requiring a ladder to reach.

Now all titles are within easy reach to most visitors

We are always pleased to be offered out-of-print titles of interest and in good condition. Your pre-loved books will be greatly appreciated by us and those fortunate enough to buy your past treasures. Initial contact mailto:Books@gsbooks.com

We are adding new titles to our stock all the time. We will also endeavour to locate titles you are interested in so please contact us. We send out email catalogues and lists. Our titles are available on the internet at http://www.gsbooks.com/ If you would like a hard copy to take to bed or take to work then please email us mailto:Books@gsbooks.com to have your name added to our database.

We hope to begin mailing out regular mail order catalogues in the near future.

best regards - Helen
