Miniature Rock Gardens

Miniature rock gardens is for the discussion of rock gardening with alpine plants, saxatile plants and other low-growing perennials in raised beds, hypertufa troughs, or other types of containers. The unique focus of this discussion group will be towards those who are disabled and - or elderly with limitations that prevent them from creating large scale rock gardens. The tone of the list will be friendly towards all who join--disabled or not. This list will serve as an introduction to this fascinating hobby.

Hi Rita,

these will do fine for you there in open ground.

Narcissus rupicola is a good performer, plant some. Garry Reid is the closest seller of these to you and his prices are fair.

cheers ...

Because of Gary, I have made my first Hypertufa pot. Much easier to do than I thought.
