Latex Allergy - Part 2


There is a also a correlation between certain food allergies and reactions to latex. One can have the food reactions and not the latex allergy or vica versa, but they often coincide. Some of the most likely cross-reactive foods are: banana, avocado, kiwi, and European chestnuts (but not water chestnuts). Others include celery, raw potato, and carrot.
