The Moon Princess is lost in the hills of Scotland. A big black cow comes to her rescue. (Hear cow) In the page shown the Moon Princess is asking the cow for help.

The Moonbeam Cow is beautifully illustrated with water color pictures while a simple text tells the story of how the Belted Galloway cow got its magnificent white stripe. First or second graders can read the book themselves. Younger children will enjoy having the book read to them.
