Along the way this topic will also explore airline history. Why did airlines change logos and/or colors? What preceded the change? What were the results of the changes that were made?

We will have polls to gauge what readers feel are their favorite liveries. Perhaps the stylistic Atlas holding the earth on Atlas Airlines jets? Possibly the parka-clad Eskimo on Alaska Airlines tails? Or the Hawai'ian female face on Hawaii Airlines' tails?

Tune in monthly for a new look at airline liveries right here at Suite 101.
