Medical Assistance Plan (MAP)In order to call on and create your MAP team you will use the following invocation: Step 1: "I call on the Overlighting Deva of Healing" (You may want to wait until you sense a presence, but if you don't actually sense it, you can operate on trust that your request is being answered just by your making it.) Step 2: "I call on Pan." (Again, you can wait until you sense a response or simply go on trust.) Step 3: I call on a MAP or Medical Assistance Plan Team to help me. (As before, you can wait until you sense a response or simply go on trust. If you are so inclined you can give your team a name during the first session and use that name when calling on your Spirit helpers in future sessions. My team is called the Raven's Rainbow Map team. I also have an Abigail sub-committee to help keep Abby, the antique kitty, from getting too restless during the process. She seems to enjoy the attention.) Lastly (Step 4): "I call upon my Higher Self." Once you have invoked your team, tell them what you need. You can ask for anything from healing of a physical illness to an emotional illness or both. One of the first used the MAP team for was to help heal the pain in my legs. After my first session or two, I was able to walk with almost no pain for the first time in years and I became very fond of the MAP process. It's important to give the team feedback as they work on you. If you feel warmth somewhere in your body, tell them. If you feel tension, tell them. If you feel nothing, tell them. If thoughts come into your head, tell them. This helps them to work with you more deeply and efficiently. The recommended time for a session is (I think) about 40-45 minutes. Go with your instincts on this. If you feel that the session is finished earlier, let it be finished earlier. If you feel a need to go longer, ask the Spirits to work on you for a bit longer. The author of the book has a recommended schedule for how often to invoke the MAP spirits. I don't follow it, so I'm not going to share it. Call on them when you think you need them. If you are struggling with something very severe, call on them
