After rereading the first three articles in this series, I thought I might give everyone some stronger motivation to "walk on the good side." To "walk on the good side" is synonymous with making positive choices to cooperate with one's natural human biology by eliminating as many synthetic chemicals from one's body as possible. I suggest going with organic nature in everything we ingest, to what we wear or apply to our bodies, and extend that out to being aware of what we expose ourselves to in our environment. There is indeed a balance between our human biology that resonates with that of our environment, which behooves us to respect not only ourselves, but also how Mother Nature provides for us.
I make these suggestions because I am observing and listening to too many people ailing with chronic allergies, complain of too many aches and pains of unknown origin, and in my humble opinion, all suffer needlessly. Years of taking over the counter medications to alleviate discomforts, minor or otherwise, getting shots of any kind, eating unhealthy diets, etc., all serve to only exacerbate or compromise one's ability to achieve balance as one ages. Why wait too long before taking positive action, when it will take much longer to undo all the "damage" done over the years, as I am now seeing with so many of my friends and relatives, who have reached that state of desperation. I know I'm redundant, but so are all of the chronic complainers. Personal testimonials are great motivators, though the grass roots approach or word of mouth must still be heeded with caution. Each individual has her/his own unique DNA construct, which dictates different hereditary predispositions, not to mention how personal values and life styles play an active role in nurturing one's attitude toward good health maintenance. We do all share one common denominator, however, and that is our human biology. This does not mean that it's a good idea to just go out and start buying anything that "sounds" good or has had positive things written about it. Yes, herbal supplements are better than most, but they can still be useless or harmful for some in many cases. One absolutely needs to find a holistic practioner that can help determine the root of a problem or imbalance and who can suggest not only the best remedies but also the proper dosage. By writing these articles, I urge greater personal awareness and hope to encourage more open-mindedness, which may go against traditional or personal thought in some instances...so be forewarned. I put forth a few of the natural healing testimonials, which I have either personally experienced or witnessed, or have been shared by those close to me, in hopes of instilling more focused motivation to explore and learn on one's own.
