My friends were there after I ended an abusive four year relationship and saw what an emotional wreck I was afterwards. Now, to see how happy and full of life I am, they have to realize that Darryl is one of the many reasons that my life has changed for the better. After the conversation, my friends apologized for hurting my feelings. They promised not to tease me anymore. The lesson I learned from all of this is just to be honest and speak your mind...it really can make a world of difference.
