Plenty Good Talk, Writer's Edge and Cheri Paris Edwards

PLenty Good Room
How did you meet Denise?

Cheri: We haven't met in the flesh...in a couple of weeks I go to Detroit, but I just found her information online and sent in a manuscript, got rejected, sent this one in and it got rejected. Then I let some folks read it, and they thought it was worth my while to work on it. So I did and submitted it to Writer's Edge. She [Denise] called me and asked for it back. She had someone read it and they liked it and then she read it and liked it and made an offer to buy publishing rights.
