Self-Published Authors Series: Suspense Author, Sylvia HubbardIf you've noticed the trend in the publishing industry in regards to mid-list authors, do you think that self-publishing your books was a wiser decision than what many published authors face when trying to get their publisher to promote their book? YES! Because I understand the process much better than then, I know what I must do in order to get my book noticed and not just sit back and wait around for others to do it. What was your biggest misconception about self-publishing? That it was HARD. Actually they left off a word. They should have said it was HARD WORK. That would have been better to understand. It's not HARD to get self-published, but it's HARD WORK to do it right and more HARD WORK to become successful. Do you use an independent editor? Why? Why not? In three sentences tell me about Stone's Revenge. As the son of a serial killer, William Stone, vows revenge against the prosecuting attorney, Ramsey McPherson by going after Ramsey's daughter, Abigail McPherson. But they end up falling and love and are together on the night of the most horrific crime that places William's DNA at the scene. Now Abigail must make the choice of whether to testify and let her father know about her relationship with William or allow her lover to go
