Otherwise known as "Robbie", Terry McMillan's younger sister is burning it up at the keyboard. The Flip Side of Sin marks a fourth notch in her belt of novels. The Flip Side of Sin is a tale composed of faith, redemption and love. The main character, Isaac Coleman, has finally waited out his time and is released from prison which should be the beginning of better things to come. Upon his return he learns that his life will have to go on without the woman he loves and his son. Readers have been enjoying this story, The Flip Sid of Sin, which just may hit the same copies sold mark of 470,000 that her debut work, Knowing, hit. McMillan says that her stories come from her, her family and friends, and even co-workers. She spent 19 years working in a Ford Motor Co. factory in Detroit as a seamstress. In 1989 she was in an auto accident that landed the then, would be writer, at home with nothing to past the time. Armed with encouragement from others and inspiration from older sister, Terry, McMillian fingered the first keystroke to her very first book. As reported in a St. Louis newspaper, "I saw opportunity." Rosalyn McMillan says after learning that only 13 African American books were being published that year out of 40,000. McMillan's books are often met with reviews applauding her "good feeling of realism" and "escapism"..if that makes sense. Rosalyn McMillan says of Flip Side that it's a spiritual novel that she hopes "..our people take a look at."

Tracy's thoughts: Not knocking Rosalyn McMillan but I've read that she's married with four children. Why doesn't she use her married name? I thought she'd want to steer past her sister's shadow. Not that she needs it. Thangs that make you go..Whaaaat?
