One point needs to be made clear. Don't let the title fool you. Lovestories.com has a vast amount of poetry under various genres besides romance. Including family, nature, social, children's, divorce, religion and more. It has served as a leader in the field of romance and as an example by concentrating on content by the visitors themselves.

Alanna blames her enjoyment of showcasing the works of others on selfishness, "I really enjoy the poetry our poets post on the site. Secondly, I feel very fortunate to provide resources to help poets live out their dreams by sharing their poetry with others. It's really nice knowing that thousands of visitors visit daily to read the new poetry." There's approximately 60,000 poems for viewing with 150-200 added daily.

As editor and founder of the poetry website Alanna is extremely proud of her accomplishments. As if that wasn't enough, she has just released a self-published poetry anthology.
