Training and Moderation

Training requires a minimal effort from you. Nobody can do the effort at your place. Machines that burn fats while you are lying down are fad devices that sometimes do more harms to your health than it improves it. Get away from them.

Be honest with yourself:

To stay motivated, begin by doing the minimum. It is not a bad idea to get a serious partner and check your mutual progress or discuss ways of doing things with him or her.

Look at yourself scrupulously and find out what you want to work on: your wellness, your general fitness level, your appearance, or all of the above. Look at your foes with honesty and find your good points. It is very important to focus on the positive aspects rather than on the negative. A positive attitude makes all the difference.

Do not lie at yourself. Do not try to find excuses not to work out.

Some women are afraid to lose weight because they are afraid they would lose their cheeks or the contours of their chest. Nonsense! If your training is well done, everything should go smoothly and you should end up very happy about your decision to work out.

Some women think doing aerobics will give them big muscles. Not at all! Women cannot have a strong muscle definition, as men do unless they take medicines that would allow them to grow big muscles. On the contrary, aerobics should help you to look leaner, not thicker at the condition you stretch your muscles carefully before, during and after your workouts.

Try to change your working schedule to fit your workouts, take the decision to stop smoking, face your fears, and ask people's opinion, they might teach you something about yourself you were not able to see.

Do not feel ashamed: nobody will be interested in looking at you while you exercise.

Anyway, you are doing it for yourself, not for others.

And repeat to yourself this sentence: "very little bit makes a big difference."

Be careful: On the other side of the scale, there are people who want so much to improve they do too much or too quickly.

Do not exercise with a fever. A body temperature above 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit signifies you are fighting a virus. It is no joke. You risk serious problems like dehydration, heatstroke, and even heart failure. Let your body rest when needed, even if it means skipping a workout. Low to moderate exercise, however, is fine for mild cold symptoms.
