The following web sites represent just a few of the many resources found online for adult students with disabilities:

Distance Learning: Access Guidelines for Students with Disabilities

National Resources for Adults with Learning Disabilities is an organization founded by the American Council on Education and National Adult Literacy and Learning Disabilities Center with resources and guides to locate and evaluate sources of professional help with adult learning disabilities.

Federation of Invisible Disabilities is a support organization for those with disabilities due to conditions that may not readily be visible, but nevertheless affect an individual's learning ability, such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and brain injuries.

National Center for Learning Disabilities supports adults, as well as children, with learning disabilities.

CAST is a non-profit organization that supports Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to expand opportunites for all people, including those with disabilities.

The Assistive Technology for the Disabled Computer User web site providing information about cutting-edge technologies to provide computer access for those with disabilities.

You should also inform your instructor of your disability in order that reasonable accomodations can be made for your learning in class.
