Some people start their child's lifebook when they first begin to consider adoption. Others expand upon the lifebook that arrives with their child from foster care. Others wait until their child has been home for a few months. Even if you don't start working on it right away, keep a file, box, or list of things you want to include. And don't put it off too long! A lifebook is a critical part of your child's history, life, and emotional well-being.
