Creating Our Own HavenBefore we get started with the subject matter of this article we feel it is time, again, to remind or point out to the reader that, if you have not been reading these articles from the beginning you are losing a great deal of what is being said. In fact, missing some of these articles will distort what you perceive. Even if you have read two or three of these articles we urge that you go back and read them all from the beginning. The whole series is considerably contextual. It is a bit like building a house. If some of the foundation is missing the whole construction is at risk of losing its value to you. For those who have been with us from the beginning, it is time to have some understanding of why the perceptions we have been constructing and the exercises we have been offering will actually work. That understanding lies in the very structure and function of the dynamic of human beings Our "beingness" or aliveness come from the perception that we exist through the expression of our energies. We think (mental energy), we feel (emotional energy), and we act (physical energy). All are necessary for the full expression of our "selfness". Any efforts to restrict the expression of one of these energies will cause a distortion of our expression and a terrific amount of energy builds up in us, seeking some form of outlet. Examples include obsessive- compulsive behavior, reactive behavior, uncontrollable rage, projection, provocative behavior, etc... The list seems endless. There is definite value in understanding the human dynamic. For example, any time we can focus two of our expressions of ourselves in the same direction, the third expression will naturally follow. If we can clearly and definitively perceive what we desire and can, at the same time, intensely express the feelings of one who desires and has coming what is sought, our actions will inevitably do what is necessary to acquire it. We have found that having a mental image greatly assists in developing a beneficial. In fact, in situations where an image is not provided, we will generate our own. That image becomes a symbolic reference for all that we may know about the subject all memories involved. For that reason, and to assure clarity, we offer the image of a triangle. Each leg represents one of the expressions of our personal life expression. The legs then are mental, emotional and physical. The corners, where the energies focus before they are released are mental-emotional, physical-mental and emotional-physical. When the energies are released from one of these angles or corners they broadcast and energize another leg. For example, If the mental-emotional angle is energized it energizes the physical leg. If the mental-physical angle is energized it energizes the emotional leg.
